MEET OUR STAFF JENNIE GUERRERO has been dancing and instructing at the Dance Factory for over 20 years and has extensive training in the areas of tap, jazz and ballet. From dancer to Dance Factory Company performer, to instructor, to being a mother of three, Jennie's done it all. Not only does she love to teach but the students love her too! Jennie teaches combination classes of tap, ballet and jazz. She also instructs our "Showbiz Kids" competition team, her hard work has won many honors. We are very honored to have her as a part of our Dance Factory Family. WENDY KLEIN is from New Hampshire where she began taking ballet at the age of 2. At 10 yeas of age she joined the Boston Ballet's pre-professional program and later in high school she began to dance at the Ballet Theater of Boston where she whas chosen to tour "Sleeping Beauty" and "The Nutcracker" in which she danced the leading roles including Snow Queen and Dew Drop Fairy. Wendy participated in 3 original Balanchine ballets and earned a performance/teaching certification from the Hartford Ballet. She completed her BA at UNC and has sucessfully completed RAD, DES, and ISTD examinations. She works extensively with our competitive dancers, instructs all the ballet classes here at the Dance Factory, teaches tap/ballet combination classes for our young students and works tap, jazz and ballet with our adults. This is Wendy's 11th year at the Dance Factory. TRACY BARGER has been teaching at the Dance Factory for 5 years. She is very popular with our younger dancers instructing tap & ballet combo classes. Tracy has 3 children of her own so she knows how to keep her student's focus in class and have fun at the same time. ARMANDO SILVA is beginning his 3rd year at the Dance Factory and the kids love him. Hip Hop & Pop-n-Lock are his specialty. Armando has choreographed extensively for the Northridge Dance Team, the "Greeley Fiesta" and "The Boyz" performing dance group. His work with our competitive hip hop teams fun and inventive. BRITTANY STRINGER comes to us from Ft Collins where she has been dancing and instructing at Westin Dance Arts since 1993. She is now a Senior at UNC majoring in Art with a Business Minor. Brittany has training in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip hop, has worked with pre-school through teenagers and has even done choreography for competition teams. Besides teaching her own classes, you will see Brittany assisting, subing and even helping in our retail store. KRISTY KARBOUSKY has joined our staff 2 years ago. She is from Colorado Springs where she trained at the Dance Center and Robin's Danceworks. Kristy has done competitive dance since the age of 7, studing tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip hop. Once a member of the CU Express Dance Team she is now attending UNC as a Communication Major with a Minor in Sports and Recreation. You will find Kristy working at every level, teaching many dance styles, and helping with the competition teams. Kristy brings loads of fun and enery to her classes. DANIELLE RUTZ graduated from Northridge High School and has been dancing and performing with the Dance Factory for 14 years. Besides being a member of the Dance Factory competitive teams for most of those 14 years, Danielle was also on the dance team at Northridge. We are very excited to have Danielle back this year, we know she has the best of training and will pass it on to your dancer. In addition to sharing her talent with our students, Danielle will be attending UNC majoring in Early Childhood Education. KAILA BURSON is also a former member of the Dance Factory, dancing and performing tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop with the competition team for 14 years. We are excited to have her back sharing her talent with our young students. BRIANA CASARES is a recent graduate of Northridge High School and is one of the Dance Factory's own. From student to company performer to assistant and now teaching, she is bringing her 16 years of training in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop to share with our students. Briana has accompanied Lynn to Los Angeles for 3 summers to further her dance education. She is the sweetest person ever! TIFFNEE WERTENBERGER is a recent graduate of Eaton High School. She began dancing with the Dance Factory after moving to Colorado 5 years ago. She has studied all forms of dance: tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop. Tiffnee was a member of both our Jr. and Sr. competitive dance teams and last year accompanied Lynn to Los Angeles to continue her dance education. Her energy is over the top and she loves to dance! JESSICA EHRLICK has been assisting for the past several years during her 13 years at the Dance Factory. She recently graduated from Northridge High School. Training in tap, jazz, ballet, competitive dance and even a little hip hop, you will find her assisting and subing many classes. Jessica is very excited about instructing the Teen/Adult Jazz class this fall. I'm sure she will bring her years of knowledge and beautiful technique to her class.
